How efficient are solar panel at charging?

After 2 hours of direct sunlight, the camera can operate continuously for a whole day; please install the camera in a sunny spot. If the solar panel is unable to charge, please contact customer services to arrange a replacement.

The BOTSLAB solar doorbell camera supports both 3M adhesive mounting and screw mounting. The package includes a 10-foot charging cable, and the solar panel’s angle can be freely adjusted to achieve optimal charging efficiency.

How many days will a fully charged doorbell last?

When fully charged, the doorbell can last for 180 days, although this depends on the actual recording frequency. You can check whether the solar panel is charging and the doorbell’s remaining battery level in the Botslab app.

【5MP Resolution with No Blind Spots View】The 5MP camera delivers clear, detailed images, allowing you to identify faces, parcels and fine details more accurately, even when zoomed in. Combined with a wide field of view from head to toe, this eliminates the issues common with traditional doorbell cameras—which often only capture a half-body shot or fail to capture the area at the visitor’s feet—so you can see the visitor and the status of any parcels at a glance.
【Solar Powered – Never Charge Again】The solar panels provide a sustainable power supply to the wireless doorbell, whilst the built-in battery provides backup power when there is insufficient sunlight or in overcast or rainy weather. This dual-power supply design effectively extends battery life, reduces the hassle of frequent removal for charging, and makes the front doorbell camera more suitable for long-term installation and everyday use.
【Package Recognition + Custom Detection Range】The solar doorbell camera intelligently detects parcel movements at the front door, keeping you informed in real time about when parcels are delivered or collected, helping to minimise the risk of missing deliveries or parcels being left unattended for long periods. It supports customisable detection zones, allowing you to monitor only key areas such as the doorway and steps, thereby reducing false alarms from irrelevant areas.
【Triple-Detection Technology Reduces False Alarms】Using triple detection via radar and high-end PIR motion sensors, combined with intelligent image recognition technology, the wireless doorbell can carry out a multi-layered assessment of the situation outside your door, reducing false alarms caused by factors such as changes in lighting and passers-by, thereby helping you to minimise the number of times you need to check your mobile phone.
【Enhanced Customer Support & Service】Enjoy an extra 6-month warranty on top of the original 12 months (activated in the app), with free replacement for quality issues. Essential accessories are available through customer service. Any questions about the product can be directed to us via Amazon Messages, and all inquiries will be promptly addressed through 24/7 customer support.
