This is a nice kit that has a lot of lights included, It has two 50 foot rolls and the wall plug and remote control to get everything up and running out of the box. I have had quite a few of these types of kits over the past 10 or so years. They have been more and more affordable as time progresses with the quality going up as the prices go down. This kit is no different. It is very similar to most other kits I have. It is medium grade quality through out the product. The strips are easy enough to install on most things with a sticky backing, but this will not stick to some surfaces very well, like textured walls, or anything dusty or dirty. It also has a tough time staying stuck when mounted upside down if you are going to just rely on the adhesive from the strips. The weight of the light strips will start sagging to strip if it is run too far upside down without proper support. I have this under a long desk for one of the strips and I ended up using some LED plastic mounting clips I have in my install kit I put together over the years. These help hold the strip very well, but it is invasive as I had to screw the mounting clips into the under side of the desk. Consider that before you purchase, if you will have to buy additional parts to do what you want to do with these lights and if you are okay with drilling into anything in order to install these the way you want to.
The lights themselves are decent. They have a double row of LEDS where as others usually have single rows. However the brightness output is nearly identical to my other LED strips. They are quality made strips and they dim and brighten a good range, but look much better with the lights off. The color selection is typical and is widely varying and all controllable with the included remote control. You can also setup these lights to be programmable with an app available for download, however I have not tried the app yet as I am apprehensive about installing apps on my devices unless i really am required to. I like how there is an app available, but that I do not have to install it in order to use these lights.
All in all I am happy with these lights, they are what I was expecting and what I was looking for. The price is fair for 100 feet of lights and the quality of the parts. For under $20 currently at time of review, this is a kit I can recommend, but if you want something brighter than you likely be looking to spend more than just $20 on a lighting kit. $20 bucks is pretty cheap for RGB lighting especially at 100 feet, so consider spending more if you demand a more 'professional' result.
