Few years ago thought I'd try new countertop ovens. Using big oven to cook two chicken breasts or pan of brownies seemed wasteful. And in the middle of a NC summer, turning on the oven is like opening another portal to h*ll 🥵
First oven I tried was another brand (begins with Brev…); ended up replacing that with the Ninja. Never going back.
Can't think of any drawbacks, other than I'm not the best at cleaning the unit. I've actually replaced unit, not because it stopped working, but because couldn't get it cleaned. Ended up ruining interior with wrong cleaning product that made it really rusty. They also updated the technology and UX, so really just needed excuse to get a new one!
Use it daily. Couldn't live without it. Relatively compact footprint. Mostly use the bake, air fry and toast settings. Roasted a 13 lb turkey over holidays. Baked two trays cookies on two levels (did rotate trays for even baking). Controls are intuitive. Air fry setting works well, but not exactly like a dedicated air fryer appliance. Usually adjust temp up 10-15°F and extend cook time few minutes from traditional air fryer instructions. Added inexpensive silicone sheet at bottom for drips, etc. Makes cleanup so much easier. Excited to find an excuse to trade for newest Ninja model (wink wink).
