Where should I install the camera?

Place it 7–10 ft high in your yard, garage, or garden, with movement crossing the detection zones for best PIR performance.

How do I set up the camera?

Use the smartphone app to scan the Device code on the camera, or manually enter the UID printed below it.

How can I reduce false alerts?

Keep both PIR and smart detection enabled. You can adjust sensitivity separately for people, vehicles, and animals in the app settings.

Reliable Solar Charging, Even in Shade: Powered by Reolink SolarEase and a next-gen solar panel with 20% higher efficiency, the solar security camera keeps charging even under eaves or trees. Just 1 hour of sunlight powers up to 24 hours of use – install once and enjoy hassle-free operation.
3K 5MP Color Night Vision: 3K 5MP resolution delivers sharp detail for faces, vehicles, and activity – far beyond 1080P. At night, switch between infrared night vision or white-light enhanced color mode for clear, detailed footage in low light.
Smart Detection with Deterrence: PIR + AI detection identifies people, vehicles, and animals while reducing false alerts. When motion is detected, the camera triggers sound and light alerts to deter intruders.
Quick Setup & All-Weather Protection: Compact and lightweight, install it anywhere with no complex wiring – yard, garage, or garden. IP67 waterproof rating protects it from rain, dust, and harsh weather.
Local Storage & No Monthly Fees：Save recordings locally to a microSD card (up to 512GB, not included) or Reolink Home Hub. No cloud subscription, and your footage stays private and accessible only to you.
Fast WiFi 6 & Remote Access: This outdoor wireless camera features dual-band 2.4/5GHz WiFi 6 for smooth, reliable streaming. View live video, receive alerts, and manage your camera anytime through the Reolink App or PC client.
Customers find the security camera’s picture quality great and appreciate its convenience during setup. The battery life receives mixed feedback, with some customers noting the solar panel keeps it charged at 100%, while others report poor Wi-Fi signal reception. Customers disagree on the camera’s reliability, with some saying it works well while others say it’s not suitable for their needs. Motion detection performance is also mixed, with some customers reporting abysmal performance, though one customer notes it consistently detects motion up to 30 feet away.
